The Ghorepani Poonhill trek is an easy trekking adventure to the beautiful mountain village of Ghorepani and the famous Poonhill viewpoint at the north of Pokhara. The route links the under used route between the village that sit at the foots of the grand Annapurna area. You will climb to Poon Hill at early dawn to enjoy one of the most rewarding spectacle of nature as the first rays of the sun slowly fill up the Himalayas before your very eyes like magic! Poon Hill is every photographer’s heaven, one of the best points to catch the 360 panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges; including the famous Machhapuchhare (Fishtail), Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. You will then continue trekking towards another view point at a place called Tadapani where you will get a much close up view of Machhapuchhare. And at the end of the trek you will be dropping down to Ghandruk, a cultural hub and an antique traditional village, home to the warm and hospitable Gurung people.
